It's time to plant Garlic
Elephant Garlic is milder than normal garlic and can be eaten raw in salads, roasted, or sauteed.
The flavour of home grown garlic is SO much better than imported garlic and it's so good to know just where and how it is grown.
Garlic enjoys rich soil and regular watering so prepare your soil with Sheep pellets before planting and water regularly if this dry spell continues.

It's the result of a cross between a Lemon and a Mandarin which was apparently discovered by chance and cultivated here in New Zealand during the 1980s.
Lemonade fruits have all the tangy flavour of a lemon, minus the mouth-puckering sourness. Sweeter than a traditional lemon and prolific producers. Fruiting over a long period. The fruit looks like a lemon, but the longer you allow the fruit to ripen, the sweeter it gets. Children cherish them!
